Vermont

Evie, Omha, and I made our way to Vermont to visit with my brother, Chris, this week. We took off Tuesday morning and made it to our hotel in the afternoon (after a stop to eat lunch and shop at the Queensbury outlets). We ate dinner at Planet Hollywood Tuesday night - where Chris is the head chef- and experienced an amazing meal. On Wednesday, we went swimming, out to lunch and to the Vermont Teddy Bear factory. Uncle Chris made Evie her first Vermont Teddy Bear- he put in the heart, made a wish (he wasn't allowed to say it out loud so I am not sure what it was), stuffed it with love and cut the umbilical cord. We created a birth certificate and named the bear after my brother, C.P. Miller:) Evie is totally in love with her new best friend! Wednesday night Chris took us out for dinner at the Bluebird and once again we had a fabulous meal. I experienced so many new tastes - veal brains, Oats and Honey (the best drink ever), parsnip soup and baked Alaska. It was an amazing night and a great experience for all of us, especially Evie. We headed home Thursday morning and once again stopped at the outlets and for a picnic lunch. Thank you Uncle Chris, Joya and Mom for a wonderful trip that helped take my mind off the life crisis'.
